May 2016 – Millennium Fund Award

CISC receives a grant to help and encourage youngsters to come and join our friendly Club.  Kids will learn, develop and progress a valuable life skill with rewards along the way, they will also keep fit, active and happy :)

January 2016 – Happy New Year

All swim lessons and sessions are back on track at Waterside :)

Plus, more good news – Canvey’s Big Local Partnership Group have very kindly agreed to sponsor 10 children.  This will aid and encourage them to learn to swim with us and learn a vital skill for life.  As a small local community Club, CISC would like to say a massive thank you for this support and positive encouragement.

December 2015

Christmas is coming and the kids are all excited, and to make us smile all the more we have some good news to share.  We would like to say a couple of thank you’s!  These go out to Canvey Council for their generous donation which will go towards new swim equipment and a big thank you goes to the Chelmsford Star Co-operative, Long Road Branch.  The contributed towards our Christmas chocolate purchase.  PS to help raise money for the Club on a continuous basis, you can use a Co-op membership card everytime you shop with them – see the attached poster for more info.

Dear All, CISC were presented with a very generous cheque this evening (Sunday 12 April 2015) from Furtherwick Park School Legacy Trust Fund and Canvey Rotary Club Members.  We are extremely delighted and grateful to receive this vital funding as it helps the Club provide essential skills and training and our swim members can go from strength to strength.  These funds will help pay towards new training aids for both the training pool and the main pool swim members.  Pictures to follow once we have purchased the items.  Also a photo of some Club members was taken tonight and will be shared once it is available :) as above ^

November 2014

More good news on the Funding front as CISC receives Funding from Cash4Clubs.  Thank you from the Club and all our members for your valued support and funding.  This is vital and will go towards the costly flag pole holders and some much needed swim equipment to enhance training  – thank you.

CISC receive Funding from Furtherwick Park Legacy & Rotary Club

This funding will go towards the purchase of 4 specially designed and made marine grade stainless steel flag-pole holders and flag poles – THANK YOU.  All support, help and funding is greatly appreciated and always needed for our continuous development and competitiveness swimming.

Just over a year since our return to Waterside and finally our swim members can now practice their all important backstroke properly and safely :)
