Both Head Coach Paul and Swim Teacher Marina chose Kian Young to be our ‘Swimmer of the Month’ for October. A big well done to Kian for all his effort in training and for moving up a group to now train with Hannah
Tuesday 03 October – Megan Parks, 7yrs
Our lucky Club Member to receive ‘Swimmer of the Month’ for September goes to Megan Parks. A big well done for all your hard effort and commitment at training sessions and for your brilliant achievement when you attended your very first ‘Novice Event’. Megan took part in the Basildon 50m Freestyle event on 16 September and came 2nd in the 7yr old Age Group Category

Our Head Coach Paul was busy pool side tonight making his decision on who has earned ‘Swimmer of the Month’ for August. AND the monthly award goes to young Kacey for all her hard efforts, well done to you, keep up the good work / training

Head Coach Paul, awarded Ruby with ‘Swimmer of the Month Award’ for her 100% Effort during June and so far for July. She’s made a great effort at our Mini League events plus her first Swim Gala at Thurrock – well done Ruby, carry on the good training

receives ‘Swimmer of the Month’ just 6 months on from the first time receiving this Award! Paul, picked Louie for his continuous, hard work and commitment to training. Well Done Louie
Tuesday 04 April 2017 – Fearne Peach, 8 yrs, was awarded with ‘Swimmer of the Month’ by Head Coach Paul. This comes in recognition of all Fearne’s hard work, steady progress (even with enduring an operation), her commitment and enthusiasm towards swimming and the Club. Well done Fearne, from all at CISC

Tuesday 28 February 2017 – Finlay Cosgrove, 7yrs, was chosen by Head Coach Paul, to be awarded the ‘Swimmer of the Month’ at tonight’s session. This comes in recognition of all his hard work, commitment and dedication to the Club when he attends training – well done from all at CISC
Thursday 02 February 2017 – Elise Bryant was Awarded ‘Swimmer of the Month’ at tonight’s training session. Head Coach Paul chose Elise for all her hard training and effort throughout January. An excellent start to the year for Elise as she has now progressed into Louise’s Squad and will be attending her very first Mini League Meet in March – well done from all at CISC

Tuesday 29 November 2016 – Louie Annetts, 9, received the ‘Swimmer of the Month’ Award from Paul and Louise for all his dedicated training throughout November and his excellent performance at his very first Gala at Braintree, despite initial nerves – well done from all at CISC

Sunday 24 July 2016 – Meg at Sheffield ASA Open Water Nationals
One very devoted and determined young lady swam at Sheffield’s OW National Competition today. She was very nervous to start with but soon overcame any fears and went for it. Meg came in at 18th place out of 35. Massive well done from all at CISC
17 June 2016 – ASA Regional Open Water Champs Success:
An amazing day was had when 9 of our Squad swimmers met at the Norwich Open Water event at Whitlingham. Megan Key, 15, came in 2nd overall for the Region in the 3km event – well done to you and best of luck for next weekend when you swim for the Nationals in Sheffield.
800m Novice event success goes to Alfie, 13, for 2nd place, Millie Piercy 11, 2nd place and Lennie Wright, 11, 3rd place, all for Essex.
Congratulations to Paige Fincham, Fran Key, Maddy Kemp, Gabby Kemp and Jude Peach for taking part.

Despite being the festive month, swimmers have still been committed to their swim training sessions and proven their ability, so much so, that we have had quite a bit of movement from various levels by our head coach Paul:
6 successfully move up to become Manta’s – they will train 3 X 1.5 hours per week with Deena:
Molly Gardiner, Kitti Lothian, Rio Rogers, Denvar Spencer, Jessica Taylor and Oliver Woodford – well done

Well it looks like our swimmer Megan Key is off back to Norwich for this year’s 2nd weekend event of the Regional Long Course Champs! All the very best Megan, go for it
CISC’s very own Megan Key, 12, an upcoming swimming enthusiast came home with GOLD at this years East Region Open Water Champs Meet in Norwich. She took part and won the girls 12 to 16 year age group – way to go Megan, well done!
